HOLLYWOOD THEN AND NOW

What do you notice about Hollywood then and now?
What do you think changed?  What do you thing
motivated the industry to move to Southern California?
What effect do you think it had over New Jersey or Southern California?

I noticed the big sign that now displays Hollywood. The town has a huge amount of changes in population, homes, and business. The industry at the time was looking for a place to relocate and settled in California. The Golden State became home to the Golden Age of cinema. To escape from Thomas Edison's Motion Picture Patents Company.  The weather conditions was a major reason. The film makers would run to Mexico running from the agents sent from Edison's Company.
